About Corey Blackburn

Corey Blackburn is a professional photographer from Auckland, New Zealand. After travelling to Egypt to photograph and document the effects of September 11th in 2001, Corey gained her first feature story with Investigate Magazine. The love of telling a story through imagery started here and hasn't stopped since. Over the last 10 years, she has worked as a wedding and portrait photographer, and as a photojournalist for both INL and Investigate Magazine, laying the foundation for an ongoing project of photographing the Auckland dance scene and club culture. Her images are currently published through a number of networks and for a variety of commercial and editorial uses. These cover print media such as magazines and online media via various web sites, which feature the work that has been done for the fashion industry and the dance scene. Corey's work Canvases subjects ranging from corporate biographies and product advertising, to DJ, Artist and Model portfolios, as well as weddings, portraiture, panoramic landscapes and people.
